"Ilya Repin. Moonlit night. Works of "Zdravnevo" period" is the exhibition dedicated to the creativity of the great Russian artist Ilya Repin to present unique works of "Zdravnevo" period.

In the spring of 1892, the artist bought an estate in Zdravnevo near Vitebsk. He spent eight summer seasons there. Delighted and inspired by the Belarusian nature, Ilya Repin created over fifty works near Vitebsk, including “A Belarusian Man”, “Autumn Bouquet”, “The Sunrise on the Zapadnaya Dvina River”, “In the Sun”, “Holiday Festivities in Zdravnevo” and others.

The exhibition “Ilya Repin. Moonlit night. Works of “Zdravnevo” period” is to show one of the most romantic works of the period, “Moonlit night. Zdravnevo” from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, as well as unique icons by Ilya Repin, paintings and drawings of the period from the collection of the Vitebsk Regional Studies Museum.

The exhibition is to open at the Vitebsk Art Museum on 12 July.
